The long-awaited Final Fantasy XII Piano Collections Sheet Music has arrived!  It features 92 pages and a total of 13 advanced solo piano arrangements of some of the best music from Final Fantasy XII.  We will provide the English Table of Contents translation as soon as it becomes available.  This book has just been released in Japan, and we have quite a few copies on order.  We expect to be able to start shipping in mid-to-late January, 2013.  Pre-order now to reserve your place in line.

If you happen to be in the Chicago area or don’t mind traveling, we encourage you not to miss the upcoming Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy concert on December 7th.  This concert celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series.  Legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu will be in attendance.  As of this writing, tickets are still available, so be sure to attend and support Uematsu-san and the concert series.

To coincide with this year’s 25th Anniversary celebrations, Square Enix has detailed a Final Fantasy box set that will include game discs spanning Final Fantasy I-XIII, a 128 page art book, a piano arrangement CD, and a double disc soundtrack selection that will feature the best music chosen from the entire series. To top it off, the collection will include an acrylic art stand (as pictured above).

Square Enix has announced a new Piano Collections arranged album that you can cordially add to your collection: the long-awaited Final Fantasy XII Piano Collections. Although there isn’t a specified release date yet, they have released a sample of some tracks that will be featured including: Theme of Final Fantasy XII, The Royal City of Rabanstre, The Dalmasca Eastersand, Theme of the Empire, and The Skycity of Bhujerba.

SEGA have just released soundtracks from the three iterations of Virtua Fighter 5 onto iTunes. It seems they haven’t released it in all territories however there is a list at the bottom of this page that goes through the various stores that are currently selling it.

Square Enix have released four samples from the upcoming ‘Secret of Mana Genesis’ arrange album on its official page. Composed and now rearranged by the series’ musical mastermind Hiroki Kikuta it provides 16 revitalised tracks from the game. It will be released on August 8 in Japan, there is no word of a worldwide release yet.
