Michael Gluck (Piano Squall) to Release Game Music Album for Charity
 |
Starting in 2003, Michael Gluck (also known as "Piano Squall") has been delighting crowds at game and anime conventions around the country by performing his original video game and anime arrangements on piano. He travels the country to perform because he enjoys game music, and has a passion of raising money for charity. In a disclaimer on his web site, Michael exclaims that "My only goals are to entertain an audience and raise money for charity. I request no compensation beyond the reimbursement of my expenses so that my concerts will be affordable to any organization. I only ask that you set me up with a table before and after the concert so that I can raise money for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society through the sale of Piano Squall merchandise."
Michael's upcoming CD, entitled "GAME," will be released on June 30, 2007. It comes jam-packed with 26 piano arrangements from popular game and anime series such as Final Fantasy, Naruto, Super Mario World, InuYasha, Chrono Trigger, Cowboy Bebop, Mega Man, Chrono Cross, Full Metal Alchemist, Tetris, Evangelion, and more.
Pre-orders for "GAME" are going on now at http://www.pianosquall.com/cd. The CD sells for only $9.99 and proceeds benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, which researches cures to the disease that claimed his grandmother. Michael was also generous enough to offer us several signed copies of the CD to give away in upcoming competitions. Stay tuned for the news for all the details.
