This book is worth it. I listened to the cd and i HAD to have the book. My friend had it and i borrowed it, the arrangements range from pretty easy to extremely difficult (Those Who Fight..#4) i really reccomend this book to everyone who is a dedicated piano player and a Final Fantasy Fan. The arrangement are astounding. i love it 100%. Every Final Fantasy Fan should have this if they play piano and believe me its worth the money! you WILL be satisfied with this piano collections sheet music if you are a Final Fantasy VII fan like me. its great!

This book is amazing. It is exactly what is played in the CD. The only thing wrong, and not that you can change it, is that the title are ALL in Japanese. But it is still easy to just print the titles out :) It came really quick, and in a lot of protection. Thank you for taking so much care into getting this book to me.

Not to be cliche, but it really is worth the money. Each arrangement is quite faithful to the original in-game score we all know and love, while still being fresh and witty. My favorite example is "Fighting," which takes the old familiar battle theme to a very satisfying new level. It's difficult to learn, and more intermediate-level pianists might want to begin with something like "Aerith's Theme," but trust me, it's a lot of fun to play.

Overall, a well-arranged book, but I do have one gripe. Some of the pieces were subpar when the rest of the book is taken into account. "Fighting," "One-Winged Angel," and "J-E-N-O-V-A" are all top-notch, but I found some of the less active arrangements (such as the "Main Theme") too uncreative. They had the simple and wonderfully written themes, but lacked the charm of the others. I could actually have lifted the theme myself from the game and done some derivative arranging, and it would probably have sounded better. It just seemed like a few tracks were rushed so they could make it to the printer on time.

Nevertheless, the vast majority of the pieces this book contains are clever and sophisticated. I'd buy this book just for "Fighting," but that's me. By all means, buy this book today, you will not be disappointed! You might even very much like the handful I found boring.
