I like that idea. Perhaps a Legend of Zelda competition? There's lot's of room for interpretation there, as most of the games follow different instruments as their main idea (Ocarina, flute... conductors batton... (...)). Okay. Maybe not the conductor one. Or perhaps we could use this as a chance to explore the OST's with less attention, say, Crystal Chronicles, Golden Sun etc.
