I posted this composition up a little while ago but no one could open it so I made a MIDI file of it. Hope you guys like.

I like it; it came together nicely. The only drawback for me is the repetitive left hand. It changes chords and such, but it's usually the same; a lower octave note, then a chord. It fits the piece, but a repeating left hand is kind of boring to play. But of course, that's just me.

That pattern is actually typical of the waltz form; if you ever get into classical music, you'll be seeing it a lot ;o.

Really though, I like the piece. Around 30 seconds in it started reminding me of the Final Fantasy X soundtrack, with the very minimalistic melody and interesting harmonic progression. If you're aiming to be a video game music composer, I'd say you're well on your way. Good job .

Thanks. I was actually aiming for that full on. I was trying to think of where it could go in a game. lol
