For some reason, i can't seem to open the file. What program can you use to open .ogg?

You just need the OGG Vorbis codec. You can also open it by default with a ton of programs, such as VLC Player and WinAmp.

What exactly is a .ogg file? I know it's an audio format file, but what are its advantages, is it lossless?

Well... To be honest, I used it because I record it using SoundFont and the limit for MP3 decoder is up...

.ogg is a free ware, open source audio codec. It's lossless, and it has very reasonable compression.

Also, Lynx, I meant the Noise Removal filter in Audacity. Audacity is a free audio editing program that you can find easily by searching Audacity on google.

Sound Forge by Sony also has the Noise Removal feature which allows you to choose the extent of the noise you remove. The program is expensive though, I just downloaded the trial to see what it's like.

Yeah... I've tried Audacity too. It's good, I think...
Btw, I've made Medley for FF8. I'll upload it ASAP...

As a quick note, I should start working on a medley myself, soon. I didn't have as much time for alot recently, as I've needed to finish my competition arrangement, study for exams etc.. But now that my exams are over and my arrangement is in, I should be able to start work on this very soon.
