Default Dancing Mad for organ and orchestra

      Hey guys!

I recently finished my rework of the FF-piece that is the greatest battle-music in my book.. Dancing Mad from FFVI. It clocks in at nearly 10 minutes. This is my first attempt at creating something like this so I hope you can tolerate some minor glitches..hehe. My ears were my only tools for 95% of the song..the rest I had to double-check with some sheet-music

It still needs a few tweaks, but I hope you like what I've got.

I'm thinking about making an album of organ-arrangements and I like to think of this as a good start.

Very nice. I love this theme, and the into to the piece is just amazing, especially the chilling melody of the strings and organ. After my computer is able to handle the entire piece, I'll comment on the rest, but it's great so far.

I was able to finish the song, and it was really good. I really like how it goes from the peaceful intro into the full-on battle theme with the "I'm Gonna Kill You" sound of the snare backing up the orchestra. Ok, that was a weird analogy, but being a percussionist, I come up with strange things like that.

But it was great, keep up the good work!

I love your version of Dancing Mad
Personally, I loved the original version since I listened to it on the SNES version but your version makes me love it even more.

Thats a very true and really good arrangement. What program did you use to render the sound though?

Thanks for the kind words I used Garritan Personal Orchestra for the organ. And EastWest Symphonic Orchestra for the other stuff. Sequenced in Cubase.

how'd I miss this one? wow, you certainly know how to write for organ, I really enjoyed this, well done. If had to critique something, it might be to use a bit more orchestra through the piece.

and a technical question, what did you use for reverb for the organ? you seem to have mixed it quite well with EWQLSO?

I know this is an OLD form, but I can't seem to find any other way to contact you.

Would it be at all possible to get the sheet music for the organ part (with pedels) of your arrangement ?
My church is getting a real pipe organ and it would be AWESOME to try it out with this piece.

      Thanks either way.
