I completely forgot about DKC! I LOVE that soundtrack. Dave Wise is awsome! He hasn't done anything recently has he? Grant Kirkehope seems to be doing the majority of the stuff for Rare now.

actually, after some research, it appears that Grant Kirkhope left Rare last year, while Dave Wise is still there (the last thing he worked on was Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise for the DS in 2008, with Kirkhope as a matter of coincidence).
