Arrangement status topic

I figured a topic here would be useful to let people know the completion status of my arrangements and stuff.

I just finished a big band swing version of the Trainer Battle Theme from Pokémon Red/Blue and it's now up in the Pokémon section of the arrangement archives.

my next project is a percussion ensemble piece for the music of the Crash Bandicoot series (just the original ones for the PSX).

and, if I ever get around to it, I have Only a Plank Between One and Perdition for concert band waiting for me to finish it.

Do you really need two separate topics for your arrangements, and your compositions? That's overboard.

sorry, I didn't really know the protocol, and since there are separate boards for arrangements and original work, it seemed like a natural idea. if people have a problem with it, I'll just abandon one of them.

on a side note, am I just incompetent, or is it impossible to edit attachments for the arrangements, because I accidentally uploaded the incomplete version of the song (I hadn't compressed the final into an mp3 and thought I had)? when I try to remove the file, it tells me that it won't have enough files and that I need to edit it again to make sure I add a file back in, but it doesn't actually get rid of the old one.

I've been having the same problem. I think it would be helpful to have a section that we call "TRASH". Since we can move the file to a different section, even if it is wrong, we could just get rid of it that way.

Just let me or one of the other mods know about it and we can delete the arrangement, and you can re-upload it.

Which song do you need deleted?

figured I'd release an update, at least, on what's going on currently. I have about four pieces in the works right now and this seems to be the one that wants to get done the most so far:

it's eventually going to be a percussion ensemble rendition of the main boss themes from Final Fantasy VI-IX, I think, and I might throw in Clash on the Big Bridge too. it depends on how things go. right now, I have The Decisive Battle and Those Who Fight Further done, so far as I know.
