I'm taking May classes right now, but during the full semesters, I have several ensembles. I play trumpet in the jazz band both semesters, and mellophone in the fall with marching band. I also play in a concert band in the spring (trumpet or horn). Every week, I play with my church's choir/band (whatever instrument I feel like). This summer, I'll be conducting a community band.

In New Zealand, High Schools compete in the National Chamber Music Contest. I'm always involved in that, and I've even won once (in 2007). I hope to upload a video of my chamber music for this year to show you.

Also, I'm the accompanist for my school choir, and we recently travelled to perform at the Sydney Opera House. I think the next thing on our agenda is Vancover.

I regularly perform with my university's wind and percussion ensembles, as well as the symphony orchestra.

in high school, I was a common sight in concert and marching band, orchestra, symphony, concert choir, winter drumline, the All-City Honor Groups, and one year in the local youth symphony. my sophomore year, I also competed in the state solo contest and was ranked fifth best in the state on mallet percussion.
