Hmm...all the keys have their uses, but I do generally compose in certain keys. My favorite minors (at the moment) would have to be, C, C#, E, and A minor. my favorite majors are probably, Eb, A, D, G, and F major.

I don't arrange that much, but my favourite key to play in is F Major (or whatever that is in minor). Don't really know why, but i find that key the most comfortable to play in.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking that D minor is the relative key of F Major. correct me if I wrong!

Minor keys are very useful, and can be extremely beautiful. I often find it effective to transition between major and minor throughout a piece that is of a more lyric quality such as a ballad or a fantasia.

Indeed. I personally prefer the major keys; in a calmer pace they are much more romantic than the minors, which become very sad and desperate under the same conditions. But of course, modulating between the two works well for grander pieces, but I personally prefer the smaller scale parlour romance pieces of Chopin and Debussy.
