      Default First/Favorite Final Fantasy?

      That's a lot of f's, eh?

I'm replaying Final Fantasy VI right now...the GBA version, since I'm gone on a trip for spring break. The new translation throws me off a bit since I have much of the Woolsey translation memorized, but it's still fun, and kinda nice to have somethin' different. I like having things to do after the final boss, too, since I used to level up for fun after winning, and get every spell for every character.

FFVI was my first FF, and is still my favorite, by far. I've played and completed all of them from I-X, and XII, as well as Mystic Quest, Tactics, and Tactics Advance. I could probably rank them, too, and may create a topic about that sometime...it would take a while.

Anyway, how about the rest of you guys?

Like I said in another thread, I have all the final fantasies(except XI) but haven't played through them all. The first one I played was FFVII. But I'd have to say my favorite is IX. I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy that one in particular.

First Final Fantasy? I have one...well two. The one on DS. I don't know what it's called though, but I didn't get very far in it.

The one I have is X-2, therefore, my favorite. To me, it's pretty awesome, but from what I've heard, if you played all the other Final Fantasies, it's pretty lame. It has a confusing storyline, but great battle sequence. The dressphere mode is pretty tight, too.

Well yeah, X-2 kind of is it's own thing but it is a sequal and that's why the storyline can be confusing if you haven't played X. But yeah, compared to the other Final Fantasies.....X-2 is pretty lame, especially after X. X-2 is basically a super chick flick thing.

Haha, yeah, I've heard that, too.
It's not really that bad. I don't mind playing as girls. Haha. Kidding.

My first was actually the first Final Fantasy on the old NES. My favourites are FFI and FFVII, but I like the entire series.
Where are you? Here. What time is it? Now. What are you? This moment.

My first was Final Fantasy VII, but my favourite is boarding on FFIV or FFVIII.

All this talk of the different Final Fantasies makes we want to play them now...maybe even X-2 haha. X-2 really isn't that bad, I liked it. It just doesn't compare well to others in the series.

Basically X-2 would be a great game if it wasn't a Final Fantasy game, atleast that's what I think.

Hmmm, that's a cool way to look at it, and I think you're right.
