Welcome to the Squaresound Membership Committee. Here, we are "committed" (bad pun) to attracting
more forum members to this awesome community. So, I wanted to make this so that all who want to help
increase forum membership can all come together and discuss ideas. This should increase
activity, and get us more members, which is that big milestone : 1000 members!

Current Members-715 (as of 11/14/09)
Goal-1000

Active Members-167 (as of 11/14/09)
Goal-200

IMPORTANT: The current members are active members has risen significantly (12/19/10) but a lot of these aren't real.

Heh, no prob. And that is how you spell committee. Just one way I've been working on this is connecting with friends who I know that are into video game music. Like I said before, if things are more personal like inviting good friends, those people are more likely to stay. This method obviously won't bring in massive amounts of people but it will get more people here. And when they're impressed with Squaresound, they'll refer more people here hopefully.

An ad should be created to post on other sites. Of course, ads cost money, so we can help by going to other forums with a custom ad.

I think it should be a smaller ad, but who will make it?

Yeah, ads do cost a bit of money (I noticed that on facebook as well). I could possibly make an ad at ichigos.com. But I should get more active there before I can start advertising anything.

I spoke to Bahamut. He has a friend that specializes in creating logos and such. I asked him to make a symbol for the Squaresound Membership Committee, and I could ask for a SquareSound symbol.

That sounds good. If we start to establish things more officially then we are more likely to build membership.

Well, Bahamut never responded, but thanks to Joseph Perkins, we now have some sort of symbol.

That's just the text. He's working on a symbol. Haha. C'mon, we need more people to support this Committee.

Sry that i didn't respond carlo, but my friend said doing a logo like the one you sent should be easy. He was considering trying something a bit mroe interesting, but if the simple one works, he could get that done pretty quickly.

Also, if Joseph is working on the symbol for the committee, than i could ask about a Squaresound symbol instead, but you would have to ask Tim about that first right?
