Totally forgotten about that one :O Never played FF VII so I also didn't know it was going to happen. Zack was a very cheerful character, so when that ending came... I hadn't expexted it to be so brute. I was shocked; it was a very emotional ending.
What mattered the most, was remembered the least - Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days
Destiny is never left to chance - Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

The ending of Shadow of the Colossus is actually very emotional. You kind of saw it coming, but you just didn't want it to happen. I won't spoil it for those who want to play it. It's one of the best video games I have ever played! Another thing that really added to the emotions of the ending was the fact that you controlled Wander up until the VERY end.

ooh thats a good one. i almost forgot about that. My most memorable one has to be in Kingdom Hearts. its not really a certain moment because when i think about Sora and Kairi i just remember all of their moments in one big blur but that whole story just felt amazing to me.

So i meant to mention this one a few weeks ago when it was fresh, but there is one chapter in FF13 that i found really beautiful (near ch 7 or 8 i think
). It regards the whole relationship between Snow, Hope with Lightning somewhere in the middle there, and Vanille and Saaz have their own little side thing going on. Both parties had some really beautiful moments. I don`t really want to elaborate since it`s not likely that everyone has played, so you`ll just have to see when you get there.

FF7 still holds the record for only game to force a strong emotional response out of me first being anger then sadness, I don’t think I need to tell you which seen cased it. I also felt a weird sense of pride when you found out how reds dad died...to this day I still don’t know why they didn’t just use a soft on him. Some things are just better left alone I guess.

lol, not beating Sephiroth must have been quite sad.
I think the most emotional I've ever gotten is in ffX-2 when you have to fight the first aeon. I felt so guilty about killing it, especially because instead of the usual fast-paced battle music they use an incredibly sad piano piece.

First of All, Hello to all members here. I'm a new member and I hope to be around for a while.
I can think of so many emotional moments in several video games. To name a few:
FFIX: When Zidane and Dagger are lying in the bunk beds in the black mage village inn and Zidane tells the story to Garnet. For some reason, that story really stuck with me.
Chrono Cross: When Serge goes back to the first town and you first realize that Serge actually died several years ago. That was a real heart-stopper for me the first time I played as a young child.
Chrono Cross: Most emotional moment ever!!! When It goes to the flashback of the Orphanage burning down, and "Star-stealing girl" starts playing. Oh. My. God.
I know these aren't the most highlighted moments in video game history, but these really stuck with me.
