New Forum Features and Fluid Skin

I've been busy installing some new features and modifications to the forum, and I noticed that some of the features are causing some display issues on the default forum skin due to the small width of the forum. I've reset the default skin to "SquareSound Fluid" so that the forum now fills the whole screen. If you can't stand the new look, you can choose the old skin by choosing "SquareSound - New" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page. All of this will be moot soon as I'm working on a new design for the site and forums that should be ready in a few weeks.

Progress continues on the new forum features. Today, I added a new video directory that allows users to post videos right on the forum. Check it out by clicking on the Video Directory link at the top of the forum. I'll add some categories in, and once that's done, feel free to add relevant videos. Things like interviews, videos of either yourself or someone else performing your arrangements, or other things that relate to the content of SquareSound will be great! It supports Youtube, Vimeo, and other popular video sites.

As for the arrangement archive, I've been testing out multiple systems and think I've settled on one. Soon, I'll be asking our arrangers to post their arrangements on this system. This will be a little tedious, but it's necessary so the authors receive reward points for their submissions, and it will also save me a ton of time in getting all 1600+ arrangements added to the site if I have the arrangers' help.

Quick question! How does the referal system work? How would I get points for refering a few of my VGMusic loving buddies to this site?

So will the arrangement archive on the original site still be available for the time being? I'll need to redownload most of my arrangements before I could upload them here, as I lost the original files after switching OSs so often.

I'm just learning some of these features myself, but I believe there's a field on the registration page that asks for the user name of the person that referred you. Have your friends enter your user name there and you'll be all set.

Yeah, I won't be deleting the existing archive anytime soon. It's going to take a long time to get the arrangements ported over. I have all the arrangements, so if it would be easier for you, I can zip them all up and provide a link for you to download them. This goes for any other arrangers too.

Good. I can fix that problem with the font that most of my earlier arrangements had.

Yeah, could you ZIP them for me, too? I delete my really old arrangements...I only have the latest 8 at the moment still saved =)
