Hey all,

I know we've discussed this in other threads, but I thought I'd create a new one to keep it all in one place.

I'm looking for a few volunteers to help out with the new SquareSound. Here's what I'm looking for:

Arrangement Moderators
I'm looking for a few people to moderate new arrangements that are submitted on the site. This will involve viewing/listening to arrangements that are submitted by members of our community. Duties include making sure that the files are original and high-quality, and filed in the correct categories with correct titles (as used in the OST track listings), with all the correct information filled in (format, difficulty, etc.). Arrangement moderators will also have the ability to create new categories for arrangements. In order to volunteer for this position, you must be able to visit the forums on a daily basis and keep the archive up to date.

News Editors
I'm looking for one or two people who are really into game music (especially from Square Enix titles) that can post relevant news to appear on the main page of our site. I would like to have relevant news articles posted at least once a week. These articles can be about anything in the game music field -- info about concerts, composers, new albums, sheet music, etc.

Forum Moderators/Community Liasons
I'm looking for one or two dedicated forum members that can commit to visiting the forums on a very regular basis and really represent the site and forums in a positive manner. These individuals are always around to welcome and help new members, uphold forum rules, and generally lead by example by creating threads and replying to them consistently, posting relevant videos, making suggestions about how to improve our community, etc.

If you are interested in any of these positions, please let me know here or by PM. For now, I'm going to limit potential applicants to members who have been around our community for at least three months. Thanks for volunteering!

I'd gladly volunteer for Arrangement moderator. As I do enjoy listening to the new arrangements, I suppose it would be nice if I could help the site by doing so .

I usually check the site three times a day (Early in the Morning, Afternoon, and about 6ish), so I would be able to do any of those jobs. Put me wherever it is needed.

pls confirm the following:
1. In Moderator, OLD members are required to know the history of the Site(SquareSound) right? and they need to know all the contents of the site and forum right? so whenever someone might ask ?Where is the arrangement archive??, moderators can answer their questions.

2. News Editor must be good in english rite?(Obviously). 3. AM can also submit their works rite? at the same time? how do we moderate?(answer if I apply)

I would be glad to volunteer for either an arrangement moderator or a forum moderator. I would actually be very happy to do both. I visit here most days. I am pretty busy with school, but I usually log in at least once in the morning and at lease once at night.

I have had seven years of classical music training, so I believe that I am well equipped to be an arrangement moderator. I try to be fair to everyone's arrangements.

I also believe I would make a good forum moderator. I have really enjoyed the clean and professional style of this forum. I am glad to do anything to help it grow and expand in it's members and activities. I have had several great ideas for the forum, that I think everyone will like.

I'm actually interested in all three positions but believe I'm best suited to be an arrangement and forum moderator. This is because I don't surf around online too much and therefore I wouldn't be good as a news editor...or not at this point at least.

Obviously I'm around often and generally multiple times a day so time won't be a problem for me.

Although ive been here for less than 3 months i would like to "apply" for news editor. I have a few pages bookmarked that have some good links to SquareEnix and other related Game music. id be glad to keep everyone updated. and i usually log on about in the morning and afternoon until like 9pm Est.

I'm willing to be a Forum Moderator, but I don't actually get to visit the site daily. I do try to get involved in the threads and contribute a little, but I don't create a lot of threads or upload videos. Would that be an issue?
