I'm... not entirely sure. I know you could subscribe to the RSS feeds in the arrangement archive, but I'm not yet sure if there are any for the forums.

Go up the the top of the thread then click on Thread Tools then Subscribe to thread.
Then go into your CP options and change it so that there will be an Email notification if there is any change in that thread.

I think that should do what you want.
