In a personal attempt to start boosting forum activity, I thought it would be fun for me to try to think of an interesting topic that we could all talk about. Maybe a new topic once a week, or something like that. We'll see how it goes, eh?
My first idea...what was everybody's first video game? I'm assuming that everybody who's taken the time to register on the forums at Squaresound at least likes video games.

Feel free to elaborate on your early gaming endeavors!
If you're like me, you started playing at such an early age that your memories start running together. I distinctly remember my uncle having an Atari. I believe Pac Man on Atari was my first game...I was probably 3 or 4 (I'm 22 now). I KNOW that I got a Nintendo Entertainment System, my first personal system, for Christmas of 1991 (I was 5). I remember this because a friend of my dad's from his work let us borrow his NES, along with Super Mario Bros. 3. I wanted one, and asked for the original Super Mario Bros. (I suppose even then, I wanted to see where series started; I'm the same way today). I played the heck out of that game, and the several others that I got for Christmas (Duck Hunt was on the same cartridge as Mario). They included Pro Wrestling, and Jordan vs. Bird One-on-One. Probably Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, too. I played it a lot. I later picked up one of the Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers games (I played both; I forget which I own), the second TMNT (the arcade game), Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!, and DuckTales.
My introduction to Squaresoft (and RPG's, for that matter) was with Super Mario RPG. I was 10 or 11, and thought RPG was some kind of abbreviation for rampage...I just knew it had Mario and looked cool. I loved the gameplay, eventually learned the term "role-playing game", and a friend introduced me to Final Fantasy VI (though the SNES cartridge said III). From there, I played any Square game I could get my hands on (FFIV and Chrono Trigger were next, and all I had for a long time). I eventually discovered RPG's made by other companies.
