Default Wii Music - 03-12-2009, 04:29 PM

So, this game is supposed to be fun. According to all of the reviews, it allows you to create your own songs, or simply play along with other popular game songs.

I'm thinking about getting this. A fun version of making music would be awesome. I mean, I still have fun arranging, but with Wii Music, well, it's composing in game form. Two favorite things in one, improvisation and music. Haha. Should I get it?

I got to play a friend's copy a few nights ago. I didn't get to explore all of the options in the limited amount of time I had, but I played enough to get the feel of it. If you're used to playing an actual instrument, it will feel extremely simple. However, it does a great job of incorporating musical concepts, and would be a great introduction to music for children (or probably anybody in the general public, for that matter). I enjoyed the time I spent on it, especially the ear training exercises.

The shorter answer is that yes, I would recommend it. I may buy it myself, eventually; right now, I have other games that I want to get first.

This game sounds pretty awesome. Especially ear training, I love it! I can't get enough of it lol. This'll be on my list of games to get whenever I have some extra money haha.

Alright. I get 30% discount at Best Buy. Haha. So $50 mines 30%...I'm not good at math. Probably $10 off. Haha. Thanks for your opinion(s).

I thought it was a bit limited, as far as song selection goes. I wish there were some kind of downloadable content thing, but it's still a fun game.
