Favorite Ally (Kingdom Hearts) -
04-11-2009, 09:35 AM
So, besides playing as Sora, you have a bunch of partners that aid you in each world, like Mulan, Aladdin, The Beast, Peter Pan, etc. Each have special abilities that help us play through the game.
Which one is your favorite? Which one do you think is the best?
Also, which summon character is your favorite?
For me, I prefer having Donald as a partner. Whenever I go to a different world, I always take out Goofy in exchange for a different partner according to that world. Donald, even though he is extremely weak, is very useful. I found him saving me a couple of times while facing some hard bosses, and Large Bodies =) The only good thing about Donald is his Cure. Whenever I run out of MP, I can always count on him to Cure me.
My favorite summon character would be Stitch. I'm not very good at using him, but he's just awesome =)

I agree with you on that lol, I love both and Goofy just kicks ass but I just use Donald for his cure. Favorite summon would have to be either Simba or genie (in KH2). I love how Genie can change forms etc.

I almost never changed out any of the characters and stuck with Donald and Goofy the whole time. I figured they were going to be with me near the end of the game so I might as well keep them.
My favorite summon was also Stitch.

I added a poll. You can choose more than one!

I never used my allies. I always thought that then, you wouldn't be able to level up Donald and Goofy. lol But it turns out it was the complete opposite. Haha.

Apparently, all allies level up. I left Atlantica one time with Ariel at lvl 40, and when I came back after I beat the game, she was at 72. Weird.

i liked riku because of his dark sheild thingy it came in handy in the world that never was
the dark aura things cool too.
i also chose donald because if he uses his spells on weaker heartless he can usually kill them in 1-2 shots (if hes leveled well)
and the cure thing comes in handy soooo much

Of the choices on the list I would have to say Riku. However, I'm also a big fan of Auron! Some of his attacks were killer! It just stinks that the underworld missions were so short.

I didn't usually swap out allies because I didn't find many of them to be particularly useful, but Jack Skellington definitely knew how to get things done.
