Final Fantasy VII fans are in for an amazing treat today.  The incredibly talented community over at OverClocked ReMix have released a new fan tribute album: Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream.  The album, made by fans for fans, honors the recent 10-year anniversary of the Square Enix PlayStation video game.  It's chalked full of a whopping 45 tracks - over three hours of pure FFVII bliss!  Want to hear the best news of all?  The album is absolutely free to download!  So head on over to OCR's site and start downloading!  For more information, visit the project's home page.

I've been giving the album a once-over for the past hour or so, and I can't possibly portray how impressed I am.  This album truly breathes new life into Nobuo Uematsu's critically-acclaimed score.

Update 10/1/07: Our staff member Ronin has recently written a very thorough track-by-track review of this album.  We've posted the review here for your reading pleasure.
