United States Shipping Information
Most US orders placed at the SquareSound Music Store will ship within 1 business day of cleared payment receipt. Most orders are shipped from within the United States, while some others are shipped directly from Japan. Our store uses a real-time inventory system that does not allow you to order products that are out of stock. It is clearly stated on the item information page whether or not the item is in stock. When an order is packaged for shipment, you will automatically be sent a USPS Delivery Confirmation number that you can use to verify the delivery of your package if the item is shipped from the United States. Please note that Delivery Confirmation numbers are not the same as tracking numbers. Often, delivery confirmation information is not updated at all until the package arrives at its destination. If the item is shipped from Japan, you will be sent an Express Mail (EMS) tracking number that will allow you to track the shipment. Orders shipped from the United States will arrive in 3-4 business days. Orders shipped from Japan will arrive in 3-6 business days and a signature will be required.
Shipping rates are calculated based on your location and the weight of the items in your shopping cart. You will be presented with actual shipping costs when you checkout.
International Shipping Information
Orders placed outside the United States will ship within 1 business day of cleared payment receipt. Some international orders ship from the United States, while others ship from Japan. Our store uses a real-time inventory system that does not allow you to order products that are out of stock. It is clearly stated on the item information page whether or not the item is in stock. If you are a customer placing an order to a country other than the United States, you will be presented with two shipping options when you checkout: Priority and Express. Priority shipping is less expensive, but it takes slightly longer to arrive. In addition, it does not include insurance and rarely offers tracking. Express shipping is slightly more expensive, but insurance is included and tracking is usually available (some countries don't allow tracking at all). Note that we cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged, or misdirected packages if the Express shipping option is not chosen. Please keep this in mind when selecting your shipping preference.
There is a possibility that duties, taxes, and import brokerage fees may be levied on international shipments. You the customer are responsible for these fees. The SquareSound Music Store is unable to estimate what these fees might be because they vary wildly by country. For more information on these fees, please contact your local customs office. The SquareSound Music Store is required by law to accurately represent the package contents and value of international shipments directly on the package. In the event that you do not pay the fees and the package is returned to us unclaimed, we will issue a refund for your order minus applicable shipping fees.
Returns
In order to keep prices as low as possible, we are unable to accept returns on opened CDs or sheet music books. You may return an unopened CD for a refund within 14 days assuming it arrives back to us in brand-new condition. The purchase price will be refunded, but shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. You must email to obtain an RMA number before sending back a product. The RMA number should be written clearly on the outer box.
If you think you might have a defective CD, please try it first in multiple CD players before contacting us. If you’ve tried it in multiple CD players and it won’t work, please contact us with your order number and description of your problem. We’ll issue you an RMA number to send back the CD. If we determine that the CD is indeed defective, we’ll send a replacement free of charge. If it is determined that the CD is not defective, you’ll have the option of having the CD sent back to you (at your cost), or a 50% restocking fee will be applied, and the difference will be refunded to you.
We will pay the return shipping costs if an item is being returned due to our error.
If you are missing an item or received the wrong item, please contact us immediately and we will straighten it out. |
